The hiring of Kaye places him among the more than 145 highly qualified physicians available to assist in the diagnosis and ongoing medical treatment of seniors across 31 locations in nine states. VPA, America’s leader in house call medicine and specialists in geriatric care, also has offices in Michigan, Ohio, Texas, Wisconsin, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri and Virginia.
Kaye comes to VPA after working Locum Tenens as an Urgent Care Physician in Jacksonville. Prior to that assignment, he was an Attending Physician at Family Practice Community Medical Center. Kaye has also held positions as a medical director at Hospice of New Jersey in Bloomfield, N.J. and as a fire department surgeon in Dover Township, N.J.
Outside the office, Kaye has been a clinical assistant professor of family practice at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford N.J. He also has had articles published by the American Academy of Forensic Sciences and American Osteopathic Association.
Kaye earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine from Michigan State University in 1976. He completed his internship and residency at Martin Army Hospital in Fort Benning, Ga. Kaye is currently a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association.
