Amiee’s Place Foundation Announces Fundraiser for Modesto Mom

San Francisco, CA, May 01, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Amiee’s Place Foundation, a 501(c)(3) corporation is reaching out to the Modesto community to help one of their own. 35 year old single mom, Lisa, underwent surgery Monday to remove a cancerous colorectal tumor. Lisa’s beautiful 11 year old daughter has been staying with friends, who are all wishing mom the best. She will remain hospitalized for at least a week at UCSF and is too far from home for daily visits. Lisa was working two jobs and finishing up nursing school when she was diagnosed and her doctor put her on disability.

Unlike other foundations, Amiee’s Place provides emergency funding directly to the creditors of young adults in need to help them cover living and vital medical expenses while undergoing life-saving treatment.
