Brighton's Ice Black Birds Returns with Their 2nd Single and Announce More UK Festival and Live Dates

Brighton’s Ice Black Birds fire out their 2nd single entitled ‘As Birds We’d Be Fine’ on the 13th June 2010 via Laissez Faire Club Records and have confirmed The Secret Garden Party, Farm Festival and more UK live dates.

Brighton, United Kingdom, May 02, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Following the favourable response from media, industry and music fans to their recently released debut single ‘Ears to the Ground’, Brighton-based blues-influenced indie outfit Ice Black Birds have just signed a record deal with Laissez Faire Club Records to release their follow up single called ‘As Birds We’d Be Fine’ on 7’’ vinyl with the digital version coming out on the band’s own label Ice Black Birds Records via The Playground/The Orchard on the 13th June 2010.

Originally a demo endorsed by BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens in January, the new recording of ‘As Birds We’d Be Fine’ is said to have a more commercial appeal in comparison to the band's debut with added string arrangements, an epic chorus and singer Sam Denniston’s dramatic vocal deliveries calling to mind early Kings of Leon. The release will be a double A-side with indie-boogie anthem ‘Doors’.

Having just supported Local Natives in Brighton and previously toured with or supported Golden Silvers, We Have Band, Joe Gideon & the Shark and Post War Years, a UK tour is currently being booked in with new dates being confirmed daily and festival slots so far including a return to Secret Garden Party and Farm Festival with Egyptian Hip Hop.

‘As Birds We’d Be Fine’ is released worldwide on the 13th June 2010 with their upcoming UK live dates and sessions listed on www.myspace.com/iceblackbirdsuk.
