Philadelphia, PA, May 05, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Compliance Implementation Services (CIS), a pharmaceutical compliance consulting firm, announced today that Lisa C. McNair has joined the firm as Senior Manager of TRICARE Contracting.
A certified pharmacy technician with more than 18 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, McNair will assist CIS’ pharmaceutical manufacturing clients by offering insight into the mandatory task of recalculating and submitting payment for retro-active TRICARE liabilities as legislated by the U.S. District Court in their ruling of November 2009. During her time as a pharmacy analyst working with the Department of Defense (DoD), McNair was instrumental in assisting with the development and implementation of the DoD/TRICARE Retail Refunds Program and the TRICARE Pharmacy Benefit Program.
“Ms. McNair’s thorough and first-hand knowledge of both programs will enable her to assist our clients with this legislation, as well as other issues involving the compliance complexities of the TRICARE Retail Refunds Program,” said CIS Vice President of Regulatory Compliance, Chris Cobourn. “She will also provide manufacturers with clear and concise guidance on quarterly calculations of TRICARE refunds to ensure that there is no revenue leakage.”
McNair is currently entering the final stages of obtaining her Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio. She possesses a diverse portfolio featuring excellent key relationship management, project management, and pharmacy program implementation. She has served as a compliance manager, quality assurance specialist, and business training manager.
“Remaining compliant in all aspects of the pharmaceutical industry will become more important than ever as healthcare as we know it in the United States begins its transformation,” said McNair. “I’m eager to assist industry members in this endeavor.”
