Visiting Physicians Association® Hires T. Jay Beene, III as Regional Director
Beene will oversee the operations of four of VPA’s seven Texas locations, including Austin, Houston North, Houston South and San Antonio.
Houston, TX, May 05, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Visiting Physicians Association® (“VPA®”, www.visitingphysicians.com) announced the hiring of T. Jay Beene as regional director.
In his new role, Beene will oversee the operations of four of VPA’s seven Texas locations, including Austin, Houston North, Houston South and San Antonio. He also will assist in new market development.
Beene comes to VPA after working as owner and president of Beene Health Care (dba Home Health Services) out of Kerrville, Texas. In his role, he was responsible for the strategy, growth and performance of the company and supervised the operations of 30-50 personnel to provide care to seniors. Beene’s previous positions include serving as division vice president for U.S. HealthWorks Development Corp. and area administrator for OccuSystems, Inc. (now known as Concentra), both of which were located in San Antonio.
Beene holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Tech University. He also has been a board member of the Dietert Senior Center in Kerrville since 2007.
VPA specializes in the care of the geriatric and homebound patient. Founded in 1993, it now has 31 offices in nine states and more than 145 highly-qualified physicians and specialists on staff who are experts in treating the needs of the aged through comprehensive medical care in the home ranging from routine exams to complex treatment plans.
