Institute of Design and Construction (IDC) to Hold Open House on May 15th
At IDC's open house attendees can explore degree programs and careers in architecture and construction.
Brooklyn, NY, May 05, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Institute of Design and Construction (IDC), a technical college that provides undergraduate and professional programs in architecture and construction, is holding an open house on Saturday, May 15th at 11 a.m., announces Vincent C. Battista, R.A., executive director of the college.
During the open house, prospective students will have the opportunity to learn about the college’s offerings, which range from Associate Degree programs for entry-level students to specialized courses for registered architects and construction professionals.
“Now is the time to prepare for entry into the architecture and construction fields or enhance your qualifications if you are already employed,” says Mr. Battista. “People with technical expertise are always in demand. At the open house, we will talk about the opportunities in these fields – and how we prepare students for successful careers within them.”
Founded in 1947 by Vito P. Battista, R.A., IDC is a private, nonprofit institution registered by the New York State Department of Education, accredited by the New York State Board of Regents and authorized to confer associate degrees in occupational studies.
