ActionCOACH’s Innovative, Global Pro Bono Campaign Bags Two Hermes Platinum Awards
ActionCOACH’s global pro bono Coaching for a Cause campaign bagged two platinum awards at the 2010 Hermes Creative Awards.
Las Vegas, NV, May 05, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Hermes Creative Awards announced the winners for the 2010 International awards competition for creative professionals on Monday, April 26, 2010.
ActionCOACH, the world’s leading business and executive coaching firm in the world, won top honors in two categories for its global pro bono Coaching for a Cause campaign.
The campaign received two Platinum Awards; one for its Welcome Kit (containing collateral material for the campaign) and another for the overall pro bono campaign.
The brainchild of ActionCOACH founder and Chairman Brad Sugars, Coaching for a Cause is the company’s first-ever global, pro bono business coaching program for the not-for-profit and charitable sectors of the economy.
This massive campaign, which began on October 1, 2009 and ended March 31, 2010, measured the financial results of the program via an online goal tracker. The campaign helped the sector raise $3,409,645 in funds and donations within a six-month period, exceeding its initial goal of $2.5 million, by 36 percent.
“The not-for-profit sector was the worst hit by the economic downturn,” ActionCOACH CEO for North America, Jodie Shaw said. “At their time of need, our top coaches pledged to donate coaching time to these organizations in a bid to help them raise funds and donations, despite the recession. The fact that we exceeded an ambitious goal demonstrates the power of business coaching and using tested, proven systems to stay afloat in any economy.”
As part of a six-month giving campaign, Business and Executive Coaches from around the world donated time to over 100 charities and not-for-profits to deliver results – both monetary and non-monetary.
“The campaign has generated great results for our pro bono clients and our coaches are excited to continue giving their time to a non-profit,” Shaw said. “People like to be part of a successful campaign or a campaign where there has been a high level of excitement, enthusiasm and support for it up front.”
ActionCOACH’s Coaching for a Cause campaign will now run annually, with the next one scheduled to run from October 1, 2010 through March 31, 2011.
Hermes Creative Awards recognizes outstanding work in the industry while promoting the philanthropic nature of marketing and communication professionals.
There were over 3,600 entries from throughout the United States and several other countries in the Hermes Creative Awards 2010 competition. These awards are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.
Coaching for a Cause is an innovative, new program from ActionCOACH, the world’s number one business and executive coaching firm that makes pro-bono coaching available to charities and non-profits worldwide.
