New Hires at K. Hovnanian Reinforce Company’s Leading Role in Area Homebuilding
K. Hovnanian Homes' Minnesota Division has hired two people to assist with sales and land purchases. The hirings underscore the company's commitment to being a leader in Twin Cities homebuilding.
Eden Prairie, MN, May 06, 2010 --(PR.com)-- K. Hovnanian Homes, one of the Twin Cities’ largest homebuilders and the sixth largest homebuilder in the nation, said today that a re-emerging housing marketing in the area has led the company to hire two new people to assist with sales and land purchases.
Steve Ach, an experienced land acquisition professional, joins the Minnesota office as land acquisition advisor. It will be Ach’s job to locate land on which to build new communities. He brings us over 20 years of experience and was formerly with Outland Renewable Energy and Centex Homes.
Also joining K. Hovnanian Homes is Tim Nolan as division sales manager. Nolan is tasked with overseeing sales operations in Minnesota as the area, like the rest of the country, comes out of a housing downturn. Nolan brings 15 years of experience, including time with Homes by Tradition and Centex.
“These gentlemen have the experience to understand where the homebuilding industry has been, and the flexibility and insight to know where it’s going,” said Art Plante, division president of K. Hovnanian Homes. “As K. Hovnanian continues its leadership in providing new, energy-efficient homes to Twin Cities residents, we need people who can apply our 50 years of experience to the changes this new environment will bring.”
K. Hovnanian Homes was founded in 1959 by Kevork S. Hovnanian. In addition to Minnesota, the company sells homes in 18 states and the District of Columbia. The parent company, Hovnanian Enterprises, Inc., is headquartered in Red Bank, N.J., and delivered 5,659 homes during Fiscal 2009 under several names. Of those, 520 were delivered in Illinois, Kentucky, Minnesota, Ohio and West Virginia. Additional homes in those states were sold through joint ventures. The company reported $1.6 billion in total revenues in Fiscal 2009. K. Hovnanian builds planned communities that include single-family, townhomes and garden homes. In addition, it constructs homes in mid-rise, high-rise and mixed-use buildings. The company also is well known for its active-adult homes, branded as K. Hovnanian’s Four Seasons, and its expertise in community redevelopment and environment rehabilitation. More information is available at www.khov.com or at 888-KHOV-HOME.
