New York, NY, May 06, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Tread Softly Ink Artist, Chris Engles, has had a run of success with his latest project, Homage to the Pin Up Girl." His exhibition of the series has been extended through the end of May at the Karma Lounge in New York City, located at 51 1st Avenue, New York, NY 10003-9414

Taking cues from mid-century illustrators such as Joyce Ballantyne and Gil Elvgrin, Chris has fashioned a collection of original pin up images that echo the subtle double entendre humor and visual style that celebrates the healthy, red-blooded American appreciation of the female form.

A 20-year veteran of public radio, Chris has worked on such NPR favorites as Cartalk, The World, Morning Edition, The Connection and Living on Earth. His feature-length film, "This Town," was an official selection at the New York International Independent Film Festival.
