International Billion Dollar Tender Announced
For The Benefit of Others (FTBO) Foundation today announced details for its 2007 International Tender for a US $1 billion five year contract. The purpose of the contract is to assist FTBO in the research and execution of their philanthropic activities.
Byron Bay, Australia, November 21, 2006 --(PR.com)-- For The Benefit of Others (FTBO) Foundation today announced details for its 2007 International Tender for a US $1 billion five year contract. The purpose of the contract is to assist FTBO in the research and execution of their philanthropic activities.
FTBO Foundation co-founder and chairman, Mr. Myers, says: “Beside the direct benefits, what makes this concept and contract different is just about anyone from any area of business can easily fulfil the requirements.”
FTBO has a 20 year goal and program to create greater global consciousness of our world in need and in particular, philanthropic understanding and participation from business and our corporate environment.
While FTBO gain knowledge and financially provide assistance to others, the program is designed to illustrate the direct and indirect benefits of philanthropy at no cost to the successful tender winner.
“The 2007 tender is a new initiative,” said Mr. Myers. He further explains: “The point is to demonstrate the broad benefits to everyone while we carry out our work but also to encourage the practice of corporate philanthropy which in this day and age, means business needs big incentives. They [the winner] stand to bank around half the money from the billion dollar contract and what they do with that [money] is entirely up to them.
“Over the life of the contract though, we’ll spend 1.5 billion dollars of which a billion will end up channeled to the desparate areas of our global community saving lives, protecting people, children and our environment for generations to come.”
Detailed information as well as Tender Information & Application Kits can be obtained from the FTBO website: http://www.ftbo.org/
