Palm Springs, CA, May 07, 2010 --(PR.com)-- DiMora Custom Bikes will have three distinctive motorcycles on display at the Seventh Annual Culver City Car Show on Saturday, May 8, with "Criminal Minds" star Joe Mantegna as the Grand Marshal. Over 400 classic cars and hot rods will compete for prizes in many categories.
The theme of the show is "Cruisin' Back to the 50's," Having built cars for movies and TV since that decade—such as the Batmobile and the Munsters' Koach—George Barris, the King of Kustomizers, will be on hand with some of his famous creations. In addition to his motorcycles, Sir Alfred DiMora will also be showing a custom car produced for Hollywood by DiMora Motorcar, the JX Coupe.
Barris was pleased to learn that DiMora would be participating in the show. "I've known Alfred DiMora since he was building those classic Clenet and Sceptre cars in the 1970s. His new motorcycles prove he has a great sense of style and design. That ZTango is a beautiful bike."
Legendary actor Bo Hopkins, star of "American Graffiti," "The Wild Bunch," "Dynasty," and countless other movies and TV shows, will be on hand at the DiMora exhibit to sign autographs, have pictures taken with fans, and enjoy the day's activities. The fun begins at 9:00 AM Saturday, May 8, on Culver Blvd. and Washington Blvd., between Duquesne Ave. and Ince Blvd., in Culver City, California.
