Agent Storm Helps After the Homebuyer Tax Credit

New York, NY, May 08, 2010 --(PR.com)-- House sales picked up 6.8% during the first quarter of 2010 largely due to the Homebuyer Tax Credit that offered a $8000 tax credit to first-time buyers and a $6500 tax credit for repeat home buyers. With the tax credit deadline reached for new contracts on April 30th 2010 and with over 3.5 million homes still up for sale Realtors need to step up their marketing in order to maintain the current number of house sales through to the end of the year.

“With home values stabilizing, a revival in home buying confidence will likely help the housing market get back on its feet even as the tax credit impact disappears,” said Lawrence Yun, Chief Economist for The National Association of REALTORS.

A new product, Agent Storm, targeted at REALTORS could help continue this trend and get the right properties in the hands of the right prospective homebuyers. By providing the tools REALTORS need for marketing homes for sale in today’s market using social network marketing, such as Facebook and Twitter, and traditional marketing using e-Flyers and email marketing. Agent Storm automates many real estate marketing tasks allowing the Realtor to spend more time closing sales.
