Verona Walk Community Fundraiser Earns Nearly $8,000 for Eden Autism Services Florida

Naples, FL, May 09, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Verona Walk community in Naples raised $7,900 for Eden Autism Services Florida through its “Calendar Girl” event, held on March 27.

For the event, 12 of the community’s boldest and bravest men dressed up in costumes by Cathy Freed and makeup by Tammy Miloro, representing each month of the year and entertaining the 250 people in attendance:

Local entertainer and Verona Walk resident Daniel Melvin provided musical entertainment and Diane Brueggeman served as toastmaster and show director.

“We would like to thank everyone who participated in this event, especially the local vendors who donated to our Silent Auction to help make this an overwhelmingly successful night,” Brueggeman said.

Eden’s executive director Susan Suarez added, “We’re very grateful to have neighbors like the Verona Walk community, who donate so generously to our programs and services.” Verona Walk’s donation will be used toward Eden’s school program for children with autism.
