"Pretty Girl" Unleashed

Oakland, CA, May 09, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Jimmie Reign's debut album “Pretty Girl” will be released May 25, 2010 via indie label Red Honey Entertainment, having been preceded by the radio releases of singles "Different Person" in late 2008 and "All On Me" in February of this year.

Four years in the making, Pretty Girl has been described as one of the most anticipated albums to come from a Bay Area native. Jimmie Reign wrote all songs on the album and co-produced several; a “Nu-Soul” compilation of her struggles, joys, and pains. A far cry from the 2006 “Go Girl” Mixtape, Pretty Girl is Jimmie's musical metamorphosis.

Free of the clutter of random features, Jimmie chooses her contributors wisely. Teaming up with rapper Balance for the track “New Friend” isn't surprising as the two have a knack for creating hits together such as the 2009 summer smash “Can't Go” featuring Jacka and Big Rich.

Producers from rookie to established, logged in studio time with Jimmie. Fan favorite “Heart Beat” was produced by Charles Henry, a new comer while “Out The Door” was composed by The Beat Banggahz who also have placements with Nivea and Trey Songz to name a few.

Jimmie Reign is currently gearing up for the “Pretty Girl” college tour with dates set for September of this year. Performances in the UK are also in the works to gain exposure internationally. Jimmie stars in a web based reality series on AllHipHop.com affectionately titled, “Pretty Girl: The Ugly Truth” with new episodes airing monthly and touching on the difficulties of being an independent artist.
