Orlando Delbert Delivers Company Identity for New Island Pictures
Orlando Delbert, Founder and Creative Director for Delbert Entertainment, LLC today announced, the delivery of New Island Pictures’ Company Identity.
Los Angeles, CA, May 10, 2010 --(PR.com)-- “I was asked by Founder and CEO of New Island Pictures, David Gordon, to design a Company Identity for his production company,” said Orlando Delbert. “He had a very specific vision, which entailed some larger than life scenery. I was up for the challenge!”
“As the initial brain-storming session began, I thought about shadow puppets my parents and I made as a child for their theatre productions in New York. I thought it might be a cool concept to put his vision inside of a frame, much like it would be watching a shadow puppet show. As things progressed, the idea of creating an animated post card, with a painted feel began to emerge. Using Adobe After Effects and Photoshop, I was able to design a unique Company Identity that will look good on the big screen.”
New Island Pictures is currently in Post Production with the film, “The Changing Room.” The film is directed by David Gordon, and written by Mark V. Bedard. The film stars Adina Porter of HBO’s True Blood, and Helen Gordon. New Island Pictures is also in production of the series, “Back In The Biz,” due for release in 2010.
Delbert has an extensive background in brand building Internationally, with a focus on television network and broadcast identities. Work with CBS, FOX, NBC, The Dr. Phil Show, Entertainment Tonight/Insider, Telemundo, and Television Games Network has led him to multiple National Sports Emmy Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Graphic Design.
