Visiting Physicians Association® Adds Mary Anne Curtiss, M.D., to Its Cincinnati Office
Dr. Curtiss will serve the Cincinnati office of VPA, which includes southwest Ohio and the greater Cincinnati area.
Cincinnati, OH, May 12, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Visiting Physicians Association® (“VPA®”, www.visitingphysicians.com) announced that Mary Anne Curtiss, M.D, has joined its Cincinnati office located at 4623 Wesley Ave. (Suite P). This particular VPA office covers southwest Ohio and the greater Cincinnati area, including Adams, Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Gallia, Hamilton, Highland, Morrow and Warren counties.
The addition of Curtiss makes her among the more than 145 highly qualified physicians available to assist in the diagnosis and ongoing medical treatment of seniors across 31 locations in nine states. Prior to joining VPA, Curtiss worked as a staff physician in the substance abuse rehabilitation services area of the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Cincinnati. During her 12-year career there, she handled the day-to-day operations of a 17-bed inpatient rehabilitation floor, including histories and physicals, treatment planning and primary care. In 2008, the Consumers’ Research Council of America named her as “One of America’s Top Family Doctors.”
Curtiss also previously served as an adjunct assistant professor of clinical family medicine at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine for 13 years.
Outside the office, she has been a frequent presenter. Most recently, she led a discussion on “Today’s Medical Care in Vietnam and Cambodia” at the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center.
Curtiss earned her doctorate of medicine from the University of Cincinnati. She also holds certifications from the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and American Society of Addiction Medicine.
