Tourism Web Staff Puts Together a List of the Best Beaches in Thailand

Bangkok, Thailand, May 13, 2010 --(PR.com)-- David Scogin and Wai Rukpouk of Thailand Tourism and Living have put together a full list of the best beaches in Thailand. The couple created a list of the best and most popular beaches in Thailand as voted by Thai locals, visiting tourists, and permanente expats. The beaches listed where then visited by David and Wai and rated.

The beaches were ranked and judged on 7 points as follows,

- View
- Color and Clarity of the Sand and Water
- Swimming
- Amenities
- Cleanliness
- Crowded
- Overall

In addition, the beaches were given a score range of 1 through 10 with 10 being the highest mark.

"Putting together a review of the best beaches in Thailand wasn't easy... but someone had to do it," David remarked as he laughed out loud. "In all seriousness though we really want to take a hard look at what these beaches had to offer and find out which ones were better than others and why." David
continued. "The web has little information on Thailand beaches and it's surprising because Thailand has some of the best in the world."

When asked what David and Wai's personal favorite beach was, their answer was uniquely surprising. "For some reason I made a personal and deep connection with an area called, Prom Thep Cape in Phuket. Now to be fair this is technically a cape but it does have a rocky beach called, Nai Harn, however, it's not very swimmable. The views from this cape are just out of this world and I didn't even need to take my clothes off to put on my swim trunks!" as he barreled in laughter again. Wai's answer was more to the point and a classic beach answer. "I loved Cheweng Beach on Koh Samui as the sand was very white and water clear." When asked was there anything else you liked about this beach, she smiled shyly and replied, "Well, I do enjoy all the young European men looking at me."
