Postcode Anywhere Unveils New Improved "Anyone Can Try" AA Route Optimiser
Software-as-a-service that works in your internet browser and cuts journey times, carbon emissions and labour costs by 20-40% - now with many new features.
Worcester, United Kingdom, May 13, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Now anyone running a delivery round with multiple drop-offs can afford to make their route shorter and more efficient, thanks to a new £15 single-fee service from the AA and Postcode Anywhere.
The service, operated through www.routeoptimiser.com, can cut journey distances by over 20%, with similar savings in time, fuel, carbon emissions and vehicle wear-and-tear.
Traditionally costing in excess of £50,000 for a single vehicle licence, technology provider Postcode Anywhere uses the “software-as-a-service” model to make the product accessible via internet browser. Due to spread development costs, a one-off optimisation can now be performed for only £15.
The new service has been used by a wide variety of customers – from politicians electioneering across their constituencies, to estate agencies and delivery companies. Freelance leafleteer Marvin Baker said: “Route Optimiser was a great help when doing my annual theatre leaflet delivery run. I managed to deliver 30% more leaflets than I did last year.”
