Local Realty Firm Holds Charity Event

Pottsville, PA, May 13, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Prudential Landis Homesale Services’ fundraising committee held their first annual Relay for Life Kick-off Event at the Cotton Club in Pottsville on May 7th. The group is raising money toward their goal for the 17th annual Pottsville Relay for Life, which will be held on May 14 and 15 at the Pottsville Stadium.

The event included a karaoke contest. Winners of the contest were Michelle Doutrich-Schaumann (1st place overall), Bobbie Jo Faust (2nd place overall), and Mary Macklin (3rd place overall). Prizes were also given for individual categories of Best Male won by Bud Stripe; Best Female won by Michelle Doutrich-Schaumann; Best Duet won by Dave Hydro and Bobbie Jo Faust; and Best Group won by Gigi Miechowski, Mary Macklin, Deborah Hanley, and Bobbie Jo Faust.

The Prudential Landis Homesale Services’ fundraising committee was formed in 2009 in hopes to give back to community. The committee would like to thank Robin Hosler-Reiley and Extreme Vibrations DJ/KJ for donating their time and facility.
