Local Childcare Coordinator, Michelle Carbeck, Attends Cultural Care Au Pair National Conference in Walt Disney World, Florida

Scottsdale, AZ, May 14, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Local Scottsdale resident Michelle Carbeck was recently invited to join nearly two hundred of her peers at a national conference in Walt Disney World, FL, hosted by Cultural Care Au Pair. Carbeck is a Cultural Care Au Pair local childcare coordinator (LCC) for Scottsdale and Cave Creek. At the conference, Carbeck represented Scottsdale, networked with other coordinators from across the country and participated in professional development seminars and social media presentations.

As a local childcare coordinator, Michelle Carbeck supports area families who are currently hosting an au pair in their home, as well as the au pairs themselves. Michelle Carbeck earned her invitation to the conference by way of program growth in the previous year for her role as a local community resource for parents interested in intercultural childcare.

Michelle Carbeck is a member of a nationwide network of more than 600 local childcare coordinators dedicated to promoting global understanding through intercultural childcare. In addition to supporting a local group of host families and their au pairs, Ms. Carbeck organizes social activities throughout the program year, advises au pairs on educational opportunities in the community and provides advice on intercultural exchange. Michelle Carbeck and her colleagues use the conference as an opportunity to collaborate on the most effective means to support their families and au pairs locally, ensuring a positive experience for everyone involved with the program.

Michelle Carbeck is currently interviewing area parents who are interested in hosting an au pair. She can be contacted at 623-444-5172 for additional information on the Cultural Care Au Pair program. Interested families may also visit the Cultural Care Au Pair Web site at www.culturalcare.com.
