The delivered solution allows Diodes to easily model operational product cost and legal transfer prices based on bill of material, pricing, and product design specifications. Diodes can with the delivered solution perform cost simulations and cost comparisons between items, versions of bill of materials, months, quarters, and 'best case' and 'worst case' scenarios. Also, Diodes can with the new solution easily benchmark the actual production cost per plant compared to the operational product cost and calculate cost variances.

The delivered solution performs computations of key design parameters like theoretical gross die per wafer according to a company specific formula. For example the system is configured to automatically switch between theoretical and actual gross die per wafer for new items that move from the design stage into production.
