CST Industries, Inc. Selects Sunset Transportation, Inc. as Third Party Logistics Provider to Increase Transportation Efficiency, Savings

Sunset, a non-asset based third party logistics provider, will direct CST’s inbound and outbound domestic and international freight operations, which entails truckload, less-than-truckload, ocean and air transportation. This relationship with Sunset will enhance CST’s bottom line by streamlining transportation processes across all divisions, leveraging buying power to drive costs down, and enabling CST staff to focus on other core responsibilities.

CST will realize additional savings by using PayLOGIK, Sunset’s web-based freight payment system for freight invoice audit and payment. PayLOGIK streamlines operations by auditing each shipping charge, centralizing payment processes and reducing carrier costs through improved mode, lane and carrier selection.
