Positions Offered Due to New Sales, Marketing and Business Opportunities.
Gurnee, IL, May 19, 2010 --(PR.com)-- scil animal care company, inc., a global organization focused on providing high quality veterinary medical equipment, is proud to announce three new internal promotions. scil employees Mike Gilliland, Heather Sabyan, and Rob Twyning have accepted promotions and are poised to meet the challenges of augmenting scil partnerships, increasing sales and furthering company brand awareness.
Mike Gilliland has been promoted to Key Accounts Manager and brings over 10 years of veterinary industry experience to this new position. He began his career with Heska in 1999 as a Territory Manager. He had the opportunity to sell the Spotchem EZ Chemistry Analyzer, now part of the scil product portfolio, and worked closely with industry distributors during his five years there. He focused the next several years on collaborating with a new company selling products such as ultrasound equipment and vital signs monitors for the vet market. He joined the scil team in January of 2010 and is now moving forward in his new sales role. The Key Accounts Manager is responsible for building scil’s distributor network and collaborating with them to increase sales and customer service. “I’m excited to build new distributor relationships, as well as strengthen our existing distributor partnerships. Heather Sabyan has been promoted to scil’s Marketing and Communications Manager and brings many years of company branding, design expertise and marketing strategy to her new role. Heather began her professional career in 2003 at the Cintas Corporation where she learned the business fundamentals of design and marketing. Her next opportunity took her to the American Hardware Manufacturers Association where she was responsible for re-branding the association’s trade shows, events and publications, as well as designing and launching integrated marketing campaigns. Heather accepted a position with scil animal care company in October 2009. She has now been tasked with building a marketing department to support new business opportunities, as well as strengthen and support scil’s national sales team with quarterly promotions and marketing materials. “scil has accomplished great things in the last seven months. The company’s growth is moving so fast, it has resulted in a strong demand for advertising, public relations, product brochures and increased customer and distributor support. Rob Twyning has been promoted to scil’s National Sales Manager and brings many successful years in the industry as scil’s top-selling Territory Manager. Rob joined scil animal care company in 2005 and has been on the fast-track ever since. He started as the Midwest Territory Manager, leading scil sales every quarter. He then became Senior Territory Manager, accepting the challenge of exceeding corporate expectations in sales and professionalism. Rob has achieved exemplary numbers each quarter, year after year, and has truly earned his new role as National Sales Manager. He now has the responsibility of building and strengthening the outside and inside sales teams, guiding and educating them daily, and tasking them with sales goals to position scil as the leading support, technology and solution provider for the north American veterinary market. “Over the next six months, my focus will be to create a powerhouse sales force, partnering our inside and outside sales teams and challenging them to achieve their goals by working together.
