Beginning May 12, the specialty coffee and tea retailer will offer a curbside service at its South Lamar location. Patrons will simply pull up to the curb, where an attendant stands ready to take his or her order and payment. Moments later, the order comes out and the commuter is back on the road to work.

We’ve found that we have both very loyal customers and commuters that drive by our store every day and would love to stop in worry that they don’t have the time,” said Bill Duffy, Chief Operating Officer of Lone Star Bean, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf’s locally owned franchisee. “We like to think that, with this curbside service initiative, we’re doing our part to make Austin’s morning a little perkier.”

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf doesn’t stop helping Austin’s workers with curbside service. In fact, the company will even deliver your favorite beverages to you if you can’t make it in before work. Also launching this month, The Coffee Bean will offer bicycle delivery to businesses around its North Lamar location. Ideal for meetings, entertaining clients or even a quick afternoon pick-me-up, the delivery service is available within a one-half mile radius of the north Lamar location.

Delivery Service is offered anywhere within a half mile radius of 3718 N. Lamar Blvd. (on the southwest corner of North Lamar & 38th Street) and operates Monday thru Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
