The Green Savings Company Announces UL Certification

Fort Lauderdale, FL, May 19, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Green Savings Company LLC, a leading provider of energy efficient lighting solutions, announced today at LightFair, the world’s largest annual architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference, that their manufacturer has received UL certification (US and Canada) for the company’s flagship product, the T5 Retrofit Kit. GSC has an exclusive arrangement to be the sole distributor for this product.

Working with its Chinese manufacturer, the UL certification was an arduous process that began in the fall of 2009. The T5 Universal Retrofit Kit has a total of three certifications for its three components. They include the T5 6500k lamp, the electronic starter that is housed inside of the adapter and the lamp holders. The T5 Retrofit Kit is now the only multi‐voltage luminaire retrofit kit in the market with these three UL certifications. Each kit includes a T5 6500k lamp, mirror‐like reflector and adapter that can be placed in either a T8 or T12 fixture using voltage ranging from 90V to 300V and be installed in minutes.
