Newgen Software Launches New Version of OmniOMS
Newgen's OmniOMS, Output management System is a one-stop shop for Customer Communication Management.
McLean, VA, May 20, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Newgen Software Technologies, a market leader in Business Process Management (BPM) and Enterprise Content Management, today announced the launch of its new version of the Omni Output Management System (O2MS) known as OmniOMS 3.1.
Newgen’s O2MS is a one-stop solution for managing enterprise output in a seamless and cost-effective manner that impacts both topline and bottomline of business organizations. The new version has vital features required for managing very frequent and varied customer correspondence.
O2MS 3.1 enables organizations improve customer experience, enforce branding guidelines and enhance their retention and referral capabilities. A master template can be created and used by all designers, reducing the effort to recreate repetitive components. The introduction of a new style gallery allows designers to create and save styles in a global repository.
Along with the addition of new features, many existing features have been improved for the new version. O2MS 3.1 tracks and controls wastage of repetitive email delivery attempts by defining a corrective policy regarding any non delivered statements. The statement shall still be generated but would be stopped from distribution (Email or snail mail) depending upon consecutive delivery-failures, leading to permanent non-delivery.
The new version also has Multiple Layer Support that allows creation of separate layers of data and presentation and provides user-rights depending upon their expertise/skill set. The Job Monitoring and Tracking feature offers a dashboard tool to track the life cycle of a statement by generating reports to optimally manage the system. With the Version Explorer and Report Base-lining feature, customers can now view various versions of a statement that have been created and deployed over different periods of time.
