HCR are Best Service ‘GO Award’ Finalists Again
Basingtoke, United Kingdom, May 20, 2010 --(PR.com)-- After receiving the Highly Commended GO Award for Best Service in 2009, Basingstoke based employee relocation specialist HCR Group have once again been short listed as a finalist for the prestigious National Government Opportunities (GO), Excellence in Public Procurement Awards for the prestigious "Best Service Award" category.
Entries for this year’s awards have been more competitive then any previous year with all entries being highly scrutinised by an independent panel of judges. Consequently, to get to the finalist stage is quite an achievement and yet again reflects on the excellent service provided by the HCR personnel.
The standard of the submissions received was highly impressive, each presenting a unique account of the excellent and innovative work which is carried out every day in procurement across the UK.
The Awards recognise Excellence in procurement within the Government, which spends 100 Billion pounds Sterling a year on goods and services.
HCR has been nominated as one of the six finalists for the service it provides to the Ministry of Defence. Their entry was based on the last 12 years of winning, managing and developing the Substitute Accommodation scheme for the MoD. "We have a winning team who work really hard at providing an excellent service, which was recognised by the glowing testimonial that supported our entry," commented Adrian Leach, Director of Business Development.
The winner of the award will be announced at a lunchtime awards ceremony in London on Tuesday 15th June and all the staff are hoping that this time they can go one step further and win outright.
