RoneyZone Blog Admits 'Men are Dumb'
Men may have invented fire, the wheel and sent a man to the moon, but they can't remember to leave the seat down if their lives depended on it. Men are Dumb, and Jeff Roney knows, and blogs about it.
Orange, CA, May 25, 2010 --(PR.com)-- “Stop, don’t kill the spider with the Jennifer Anniston cover,” Jeff Roney's wife Colleen yelled to stop him. That began the lengthy discussion about which celebrity icon on the cover should be used to kill a spider, and which should not. At that moment Jeff realized that not only were men and women different, but women have vast knowledge of rules for just about everything in life, and men have no clue.
After choosing the "correct" magazine to vanquish the "huge spider (his wife called it)", he had an idea. Start a blog that digitally “raises the white flag of surrender,” to women everywhere and proclaims that men are dumb, and tries to figure out the female rules of life, and so he did.
Jeff Roney (writer, stand up comedian, podcaster, voice actor, blogger, and Social Media evangelist) of RoneyZone Productions, created the blog, “Men are Dumb, and I Should Know,” Musings of one married guy, trying to understand women and stay out of the doghouse. As “Men are Dumb,” ventured onto the thin ice of male and female relations, Jeff worried about the response. Shockingly, he has received raves, not rants from a growing group of female (male, too) followers of the blog. On Wednesdays, Jeff posts his wildly popular “Differences Between Men and Woman” articles, covering topics like; Shopping (Men are Hunters, Women are Browsers), Shoes (Men have 3 ½ pair of shoes, Women have many), the Wedding, the Engagement Ring (of the 5 C's, men take care of one - cost), Gas (not for your car), the use of the word “cute,” and more. Females respond over and over about how refreshing it is for a man to tell his funny side of the story, and how true he gets the female side of things.
The future looks bright for Jeff, the dumb man behind the “Men are Dumb” phenomenon. The site now includes, “Dumb Men Review Chick Flicks,” and more content will be introduced very soon. Jeff is also considering “Men are Dumb” guidebooks, speaking engagements, and many other projects.
Jeff’s favorite comment on the blog was one that said he wasn’t as dumb as he says. That made him smile, as he went back to writing another dumb post.
