2010 Diamond Volunteer Program Was a Success - Plans for 2011 Underway
The Diamond Volunteer Program begins its second season and a new year of honoring the volunteers of local non-profit organizations.
Naples, FL, May 21, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Kelly E. Capolino, a top-producing real estate professional in Naples, Florida and the founder of the Diamond Volunteer Program, has announced that the largely successful volunteer recognition program will be renewed for the 2011 season.
The Diamond Volunteer Program was created to honor volunteers and as a way to raise awareness of local non-profit organizations’ efforts to improve the quality of life in their community. The program series provides each of three winning groups a personal cocktail reception, a radio interview, press coverage, a framed award. The 2010 winners were Baby Basics of Collier County, The Penny Bear Company, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida.
“Getting involved with these organizations, meeting their volunteers and hearing their stories is something I will never forget,” said Kelly Capolino. “There are so many well deserving non-profit organizations in our community and I wish I could thank them all personally. I know that I will remain connected with the 2010 winners of the Diamond Voluntee Program and will continue to offer my support, which is why I have pledged 15% of my commission from any real estate transaction that comes from a referral from any of the winning organizations. I am very excited about starting up the new season of the program and meeting more incredible giving volunteers.”
Nominations for the 2011 Diamond Volunteer Award are now being accepted. Non-profit organizations working to have a positive impact in the community that are interested in being chosen should email: a short statement about their organization, which volunteers would be honored (i.e. – board members, special events volunteers, etc.), and why they would like to honor their volunteers in this way. Statements should be limited to one page and emailed to DiamondVolunteers@gmail.com before October 15th. Winners will be selected by a panel and notified on or before November 1, 2010.
