Fishkill Karate - Cold Spring, Beacon Martial Arts School - Sponsors Fishkill Family Fun Day

The event was a huge success as over 1,200 people turned out for a fun & educational time. Best of all everything was free!
Fishkill, NY, May 21, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Fishkill based karate school - Just For Kicks Martial Arts - sponsored the 1st Annual Fishkill Family Fun Day. Just For Kicks organized the event to give back to the local community for which it has been serving since 1998.
When asked why he spent the last 6 months organizing this event, owner Robert Blum said, "I feel it is very important for today's children to have a fun, safe and family oriented environment to enjoy. I also feel it is our job as a community leader to give back to the community that has given us so much!"
The event was a huge success with the Rombout and Village of Fishkill Fire Departments, as well as the Town of Fishkill Police department attending to teach the children about fire and personal safety. Just for Kicks also did Free Child ID cards for any parent who wanted them for their children. The event drew over 1,200 people to enjoy the lizard show, magic show, bounce castles, dance & karate performances, the live DJ, face painting and so much more.
"Because the event was such a success and the community had such a great time we will definitely be running the event again next year," Blum said.
