Shoopz Releases a New Version of Its Kameleoon Website
Paris, France, May 22, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Shoopz has completely redesigned its website www.kameleoon.com. After a little over a year of faithful service, the old website was no longer entirely appropriate. With a refreshed and modernized design, the new site sports direct access to demonstrations, a better and clearer navigation, and additional means of contact and interactions like Twitter and Facebook pages. The back-office is also simpler to use. On the tool side, a new Kameleoon version has been released at the same time with a much improved GUI. The new version is clearly more efficient.
Jean-Noel Rivasseau, CEO of Shoopz, talks about the last two months: "We were aware of the shortcomings of our site, and we decided it was time for a redesign. We've been working on the product itself a lot, and the promoting site had not received a lot of attention in a long time." One of the most important goals of the new presentation site is to focus more on user feedback. For instance an UserVoice forum has been setup to allow users to share comments and suggestions with the development team. Kim Loeber, commercial director, commented: "The evil of Web 2.0 is that very often developers try to think a lot about their users, but do not test their products as the users do. It results in software difficult to use, whose underlying good ideas and remarkable technologies are thus undermined. By being more responsive to our users and sending them a clear message - we will listen to user feedback - we want to avoid this trap. "
Shoopz continues its development by providing strategic technology partnerships with complementary solutions whose specialty is not web design. Any solution complying with W3C standards, wether developed on open-source code or not, can integrate Kameleoon to allow their users to customize their pages. This is the real strength of this technology. E-shops, blogs, web sites, and other turn-key platforms have much to gain by integrating this solution which removes the usual limitations of templates.
