AuDNet, Inc. Launches Serve and Protect Consumer Education Campaign During Better Hearing and Speech Month
AuDNet’s Consumer Education and Awareness Campaign is Endorsed by Leading Military Audiologists and Seeks to Educate US Consumers about the Importance of Audiology Care
Burnsville, MN, May 22, 2010 --(PR.com)-- AuDNet, Inc., a national audiology network focused on building consumer recognition and demand for audiology professionals, has announced the launch of their Serve and Protect campaign. The campaign is endorsed by leading military audiologists and seeks to educate consumers about the importance of audiology care while providing a platform for participating audiologists (AuDNet’s Preferred Provider Community) to offer free hearing screenings.
Serve and Protect will kick off on May 1, 2010 in conjunction with “Better Hearing and Speech Month” and will culminate on Memorial Day Weekend when AuDNet will report the results of outreach efforts to consumers, the media and its Preferred Provider Community.
“The Serve and Protect campaign is a streamlined way for consumers to learn about the availability and necessity of audiology care,” remarked Richard W. Danielson, Ph.D., a retired colonel of the U.S. Army and former director of the Army Audiology and Speech Center. “All Americans should seek expert audiology care when making decisions about their hearing health.”
Added Kathy Foltner, Au.D. (Doctor of Audiology) and chief executive officer of AuDNet: “We are very excited about the launch of this campaign because we believe it’s an extremely important endeavor. We’ve set high standards and ambitious goals and we are determined to achieve them.”
The first goal of the campaign is to set the foundation for ongoing consumer education efforts in which AuDNet’s network and PR efforts will reach one million consumers with the message: “Audiologists are The hearing experts.” The second goal is to influence 1,000 consumers to receive free hearing screenings from participating Preferred Provider Community audiologists.
