Bordeaux Revives the Subtler Side of Sexy
Los Angeles, CA, November 28, 2006 --(PR.com)-- “Fascination with Color,” Bordeaux’s mission statement is not the only fascinating aspect to this new Los Angeles women’s designer collection! True, their seamless line comes in a choice of twenty different colors but it is the simplicity and sophistication of his designs that are the real eye catchers.
Bordeaux’s Chief Creative, Ardy Raminfar knows the female form and his clothing truly pays homage to a woman’s body. He has created a line of clothing that hugs your curves in just the right places without leaving you gasping for breath. The collection, mainly focused on dresses tops and leggings, manages to bridge the gap between elegance and simplicity so seamlessly that they can be worn to the beach or on the red carpet! The Spring/Summer 2007 collection will be featured at the California market in January and will showcase Bordeaux’s highly sought-after fabrics.
Project Runway’s Danyelle Vilmenay hosted Bordeaux’s first fashion show during LA Fashion Week 2006. Along with several Janice Dickenson’s models, the girls sashayed across the bar of Los Angeles hot spot, Mood on Hollywood Boulevard. The evening began with a Bordeaux wine tasting (clever) and mingling amongst celebrities, stylists and designers including Dennis Rodman, Taylor Dayne and Niki Shadrow. The show was extravagantly accessorized with Tanja D. Jewelry www.tanjad.com. The result was a fashion presentation that took Bordeaux a step or two into a fresh fashion direction without alienating its core customer.
Caroline Rothwell, President of Caro Marketing, a public relations and marketing firm based in Los Angeles, has just signed Bordeaux as a new client.
Bordeaux, www.bordx.com, is currently available at Madison, On Sunset, Boulmiche, Planet Blue, Rouge and Fred Segal Santa Monica.
