Pamiris, Inc. Opens Its Doors in Portland OR
An evening of food, music, and a nickel auction celebrated the arrival of Pamiris to Portland's Alphabet District.
Portland, OR, May 22, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Pamiris, Inc. hosted an open house on May 18th to celebrate moving into their own office space. The company is headquartered out of Spokane WA but has had development offices in the Portland area for nearly four years. On May 1st they moved into the Alphabet District and officially introduced themselves to the community.
The evenings festivities included Cuban food from Pambiche, located at SE 28th and Glisan as well as wine from Great Wine Buys on Broadway. The true highlight, however, was a nickel auction supporting local non-profit Second Stories.
Second Stories is a faith-based community development organization that focuses on neighborhood transformation in Portland and beyond. They work specifically with churches, helping them partner with service agencies and enabling mutual collaboration. Pamiris CEO, Alyssa Agee, currently serves on the Board of Directors for Second Stories.
The nickel auction featured a wide array of items donated by local businesses and individuals including; certificates to dining establishments, a pair of tickets to the Oregon Ballet Theater, a King's Cut from Hair M, and a round of golf from Eagle Landing Golf Coure in Happy Valley, OR. The auction was a great success as guests were handed $2 rolls of nickels when they arrived at the open house and were then encouraged to contribute additional money from their own pocketbooks. Pamiris co-founders, Bryan and Alyssa Agee, generously donated the $100 in nickels that were distributed to guests of the event.
Pamiris, Inc. is dedicated to building long-term relationships with their clients and to being a vital resource and presence in their neighborhood.
