Asia Transpacific Journeys (http://www.asiatranspacific.com/) wanted to find a way to both reward and showcase photos which celebrate the magical imagery, beauty, and wonder of travel in India.
“Making connections with people young and old in the countries we visit helps to make the world a smaller place,” said Stacey Schultz, Marketing Director of Asia Transpacific Journeys. “We have been leading tours to India for years and feel that if we can encourage people to share their experiences through photography, revealing connections to the local people and cultures, it reinforces why we travel.“
The contest will run for nearly three months, ending on July 31, 2010. Schultz noted that the company had a successful photo contest last year. “We’re excited to open the contest up to a wider group of travelers and photographers this year. With the iPad incentive, we hope that our Share Your India Experience Photo Contest will inspire more entrants as well as travelers eager to learn why we find travel in India so interesting.”
