NEUROSURGERY® Launches International Podcast Series
Atlanta, GA, May 23, 2010 --(PR.com)-- NEUROSURGERY®, the official journal of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons is pleased to announce the launch of the NEUROSURGERY® International Podcast Series, a collection of podcast channels featuring NEUROSURGERY® content translated into 6 languages and recorded by a panel of neurosurgeons in their native language.
“The International Podcast Series is part of an ongoing effort to reach out and engage our international readers,” states Managing Editor, Duncan A. MacRae. “Our social media campaign revealed that our international audience is connecting with us online at a far higher rate than we would have expected. It seems natural to develop online content specifically for that audience.”
Podcasts are presented in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese, as well as English. Each 2-3 minute podcast episode is a single abstract from an upcoming issue translated and read by a native speaker.
The podcasts are available via both iTunes and NEUROSURGERY®’s web site at http://www.neurosurgery-online.com.
