Vice President of Research and Customer Experience Shares Insight with International Usability Professionals’ Association in Germany
Metrics Marketing Specialist Joins International Panel on Eye Tracking
Cleveland, OH, May 23, 2010 --(PR.com)-- For the first time in its history, the Usability Professionals’ Association (UPA) will travel internationally to Munich, Germany for its yearly conference. Metrics Marketing Group’s Vice President of Research and Customer Experience, Cathleen Zapata, will continue her speaking tour on eye tracking and the user experience by participating in a panel discussion during the event.
Cathleen Zapata will start the panel discussion, “Eye Tracking Meets User Experience” by discussing the range of applications for eye tracking including how Metrics’ both owned in-lab and mobile eye tracking solutions are used in the company’s comprehensive lab setting. Zapata will join experts in the industry from around the globe including Jennifer Knodler (SensoMotoric Instruments), Kate Caldwell (UX Research & Consulting), Dante Murphy (Digitas), Detlef Ruschin (Fraunhofer Heinrich-Hertz-Institut) and Elisabeth Andre (Institut für Informatik, Universität Aug.)
“Metrics Marketing has one of the only user research labs with full eye tracking capabilities in the entire U.S.,” explained Zapata. “I am honored to be a part of the UPA’s International panel and will be able to share with the audience how best in class user research labs are incorporating eye tracking to improve conversions and the overall customer experience.”
The panel will provide expert advice on eye tracking methodologies that are actively employed or emergent in their practices. The event will bring together a network of over 700 practitioners from around the world. Cathleen Zapata will be a part of the Experienced Practitioners (EP) track on Thursday, May 27, 2010 from 10:30-12:10pm at the Bayerischer Hof Hotel in Munich, Germany.
Zapata is also currently scheduled to speak at the Online Marketing Summit’s (OMS) 23-City Tour, including Cleveland on June 8 and Seattle on June 14. She will also be presenting at the Internet User Experience conference (IUE 2010) in Ann Arbor, MI July 24-28.
