Denver, CO, May 25, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Elizabeth Bublitz, creator of Pawfriendly Landscapes, lectured at Denver Botanic Garden's first Botanic Bow Wow on May 22 at 1007 York St; Denver, Colorado. DBG premiered a new kind of event, geared toward "man’s best friend" and their owners. This dog-centric affair featured pet-friendly vendors, informational booths and enough treat stations to keep tails wagging throughout the day. It allowed dogs and dog owners to play, socialize and enjoy the weather as the season transitions from spring to summer.
Elizabeth who lectured for an hour about creating pet friendly landscapes says, "Denver Botanic Gardens has always been so enthusiastic about pets and gardens. When they invited me to lecture, I was thrilled and immediately agreed. Although I've been teaching about creating pet friendly landscapes for years at DBG, this environment was outdoors and with dogs!" She continues, "I had a demonstration yard for dog owners to visit so they could see how dogs actually improve their yard! And each and every dog did everything he or she was supposed to on the demonstration garden. It was a fantastic day!"
Elizabeth has just completed her second book about creating pet friendly yards which will be out in July, 2010. For more information, go to www.pawfriendlylandscapes.com
