Zoya Din began writing Legacy, the first book of the Elemental Chronicles, during the summer of her fifth grade year. At the age of fifteen, her first book has finally been realized in publication. In the beginning, it had been a spontaneous decision to sit down and start writing whatever came to her mind. Yet, as the novel progressed well over the years, she began to realize her love for not just reading stories, but also writing them. Zoya has an older sister and lives in Algonquin, Illinois, where she likes to spend her free time sketching and, of course, reading other novels.
