UKFast Voted the UK's Most 'Environmentally Friendly'
It is official - UKFast is the most fun and friendly place to work in the UK.
Manchester, United Kingdom, May 28, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Manchester-based hosting provider UKFast has topped the list of the UK's most fun and friendly workplaces, according to the Great Place to Work Institute.
Despite being a new entrant to the list in 2010, UKFast has managed to secure the top spot showcasing its focus on employee growth. The company has also achieved fifth in the best for learning and development category.
Bucking the national trend which has seen an increase in unsettled employees as a result of the recession, UKFast's Snowdon training facility at Castell Cidwm and friendly office environment have encouraged its employees to vote it number one.
This latest result confirms the findings of The Sunday Times Best Small Companies to Work For, which reported earlier this year that UKFast received a 92 per cent positive score for creating teams which are fun to work with.
Managing director of UKFast, Lawrence Jones says, "We have been fortunate enough to win praise over the years for a variety of disciplines, however this accolade reminds me why I get up every morning. To be recognised as the most 'fun and friendly' place out of all UK businesses is a real honour or a very big mistake!! A big thank you goes to the team who put up with my sense of humour and make this a truly wonderful environment."
Entered by some of the most respected companies in the world, the Great Place to Work survey is the largest of its kind, analysing results from 1.5 million individuals each year. Overall UKFast was placed at number 27 in the UK's 50 Best Workplaces ranking for 2010 and sits alongside Kellogg's, The Co-operative Group and Cisco Systems.
