Action Catamarans Brings Bachelorettes On-Board

Miami, FL, May 28, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Brides-to-be and bridesmaids can cruise luxury before the big wedding day thanks to Action Catamarans. The South Florida sailing charter, which hosts private events onboard its 45-foot Shuttleworth catamaran The Beast, recognized that the stress of wedding planning could be put aside with a relaxing sail.

“We had the idea of hosting bachelorette parties as a way to put all the stressful bridal planning away and ensure that the bride and her girls could have a good time before the big day," says Action Catamarans Captain Julian Rubio.

The sailing charter has since created specially tailored bridal packages for full-day, half-day and sunset sails and even has a resident event coordinator to assist with any special accommodations or recommendations, from bachelorette party game ideas to activities on-board.

“Let’s face it - brides and her bridesmaids want to go on vacation with ‘just the girls,’” says event coordinator Marisha Kelly. “We work with each group to figure out their interests and further plan those activities they would want to engage in when in Miami and on-board.”

With the idea of pampering the bride-to-be and her girls, the charter has also teamed up with local transportation services companies to provide limos and luxury car rentals and further provide options for food catering.

In addition to sailing waters and visiting surrounding Miami locations like Boca Chita and Stiltsville, Action Catamarans has provided bachelorette groups with snorkeling activities along Key Biscayne and sailing tips from U.S. certified Coast Guard personnel which include taking the wheel and navigating.
