Customer Appreciation is Main Event at GreenWood Invitational

Greenville, SC, May 28, 2010 --(PR.com)-- GreenWood, Inc., an integrated operations, maintenance and construction solutions provider, recently held the “GreenWood Invitational” golf tournament at the Cliffs Keowee Springs course which was named one of America’s Best New Private Courses by Golf Digest magazine earlier this year. As a customer appreciation event, dozens of participants from GreenWood project sites enjoyed the friendly competition on the Tom Fazio designed course in the picturesque lake and mountain setting along Lake Keowee. Teams competed in a best ball format with awards going to the lowest overall score, second through fourth place finishers and closest to the pin winners. Attendees were treated to a delicious lunch buffet prior to play and then a generous spread of post tournament food during the awards ceremony. Special gift bags containing event mementos were also distributed to all those in attendance.

GreenWood CEO, John Wood, took a moment to express appreciation to each customer participant for attending the event and their loyalty to GreenWood’s business. While speaking to the attendees as part of the awards ceremony, Wood reiterated GreenWood’s commitment to customer satisfaction, project safety and relationship building. This most recent customer appreciation golf tournament marks the third year GreenWood has hosted the event. As with this one, past tournaments included participants from as far away as Japan. The last two GreenWood Invitational events were held at the neighboring Cliffs Keowee Vineyards course.
