Iron-Media Interactive Marketing: Resurrecting Hospitality Through the Medium of Technology; Computers Adding Human Element to Dated Service

Long Island, NY, May 29, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Iron-Media Marketing Solutions, the engineer behind a recently developed "Guest Room Portal"(GRP) has found itself creating a new revenue stream for Hotels and Casinos, while respectively upgrading the service industry through the restoration of faith into consumers and business owners alike. The GRP system combines a symbiotic, multimedia package which is designed to provide Hotel rooms with a full color, touch screen, LCD-monitor with optional handsets for outgoing calls through wired or wireless IT-infrastructures. While most facilities provide information, such as advertising, room service, and local tourist information through pamphlets, magazines, and available staff, this new technology improves overall service, while being considered a “Green” alternative in an ever waste-conscious world. “Our goal was to provide all parties involved with the quickest and most efficient method of information exchange. The plan isn’t to replace the concierge, but to create a value-added service which benefits all parties involved.” said Joe Ruggieri, a managing partner at Iron-Media. “We want the user to have immediate access to all amenities and information, including but not limited to news, weather, events, and restaurants, all while providing a product which creates an additional revenue source for our target customers, the Hotel and Casino [through the leasing of vendor-oriented advertising space]. The product is unique, because it saves money in addition to generating. While this is occurring, the guest is being provided with an improved level of service.” The GRP system can be integrated with the hotel's existing phone system to locate, research and call internal and external businesses, and can be tied into the hotel’s surveillance systems for live video feeds of Daycare units, Parking spaces, etc. Iron-Media is currently in development of several apps for the Blackberry and I-Phone, and is promoting their product(s) to businesses around the world. When asked to sum up the project and provide a mission statement, the company responded with the following question: “Ok, I checked into my room …now what?”
