Axis Foundation, Inc. Promotes Youth Training Fundraiser Supporting Literacy & Culinary Arts for Youth Aged 14-22
AXIS Foundation's goal is to raise $50,000 to fund Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management youth literacy training at their fundraising event scheduled for Thursday, August 26th, 2010 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Riverside Christian School in Riverside, CA. What could be better, than seeing youth & area business owners helping Riverside's young people! This fundraiser will provide for the development & training of 40+ at-risk young people.

With summer activities and youth taking time off from school, The community has an opportunity to provide alternative activities for high school students. AXIS Foundation's objective is simple! To raise $50,000 to fund Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management youth literacy training at a fundraising event scheduled for Thursday, August 26th, 2010 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Riverside Christian School in Riverside, CA. What could be better, than seeing youth & area business owners helping Riverside young people! The event will provide for the development & training of 40+ at-risk young people. With 1 dropout for every 3 graduates in California, AXIS Foundation, Inc. is committed to making a difference.
Training will be provided by “The Gourmet Guy” (TGG) - a catering company that has been proudly serving Southern California since 2003. TGG is quoted – “The goal is to help young adults realize their full potential in the culinary arts through the support of the AXIS Foundation, Inc. mission - promoting a healthy and passionate attitude for learning and success.” The Gourmet Guy has catered everything from small family gatherings to large functions for the Riverside Jazz Festival, the Arthritis Foundation and political functions for foreign dignitaries.
