Lu Engineers Relocates Headquarters to Support Growth Strategy
Lu Engineers move their headquarters to add more space for planned growth and to give their employees a more professional and comfortable place to work.
Rochester, NY, June 05, 2010 --(PR.com)-- While relocating is a costly venture in a tough market, Lu Engineers views it as an investment in the development and growth of the firm.
The location of the new headquarters was carefully selected by weighing several factors with their client’s needs in the forefront. Although the location is equal distance from most of the firms current clientele, the office is located immediately off of I-490, a major highway connecting the East and West side of Rochester with a direct route to their downtown office. Also, the location offers access to I-90 which supports the firm’s plans to expand to the eastern part of the state as well as additional work with the New York State Thruway Authority.
In addition to extra meeting space and accessibility, the new workspace is just one of the many improvements Lu Engineers is making to better support their clients goals. “It’s not what we do that differentiates us from our competition, it’s the calibration of ‘what we do’ for each client that sets us apart,” Lu Engineers president Robert Hutteman, PE explains. “Especially in economic uncertainly, it is our responsibility to find ways to save our clients money without sacrificing quality. The added efficiency and space the new headquarters provides, is a tangible component of this strategy.”
The firm believes the relocation was necessary for both clients and employees. Lu Engineers Environmental Division Leader Steve Campbell, CHMM states that “the driving force behind the firm’s 30 years of success is greatly attributed to the retention of experienced and dedicated professionals. Knowing that, we will continue to take measures to provide our employees with the most professional and comfortable work environment we can.”
As a firm once perceived as a small local company, now Lu Engineers successfully competes with national firms on high profile projects. In the regions the firm supports, they are considered to be experts in the fields of environmental, transportation, and civil engineering. Lu Engineers five year plan is to achieve 50% growth in the firm by expanding their services to Pennsylvania and the eastern part of New York State. The headquarters relocation is a vital piece to this growth strategy.
The new headquarters is located at:
175 Sullys Trail, Suite 202
Pittsford, NY 14534
