LexisNexis Joins CVTA
Detroit, MI, June 05, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Connected Vehicle Trade Association (CVTA), is pleased to announce that LexisNexis® Insurance Solutions has joined its organization to represent insurance telematics, and Stephanie Stevens, director of Marketing and Product Development for Telematics at LexisNexis Insurance Solutions, has been elected to the CVTA Board of Directors. CVTA is a non-profit business league established to facilitate the interaction, and advance the interests, of the entities involved in the vehicle communication environment.
Harry Voccola, CVTA Chairman noted, “We are excited that LexisNexis Insurance Solutions has joined CVTA and has accepted a position serving on our Board of Directors. LexisNexis is an industry leader in the insurance marketplace. Their addition to our Association will help us in our mission to bring benefits to the traveling public and help accelerate deployment of the cooperative vehicle environment.”
Stephanie Stevens leads telematics initiatives for LexisNexis Insurance Solutions. She gained a background in mapping and telematics with The Map Network, later bought by NAVTEQ, with ChoicePoint’s iMapData, geospatial intelligence and data analytics, and with a start-up specializing in telematics-based driver risk management. At LexisNexis, she has performed critical infrastructure risk analysis, developed information-based emergency response plans and created visual/data business cases to address critical economic impact and legislative issues for the private sector.
Stephanie is also a Director and Secretary on the Board of the IBM Southeast Employees’ Federal Credit Union, which manages more than $840 million in assets.
