The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale Portfolio Review and Graduation

Fort Lauderdale, FL, June 06, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Thursday, June 17, 2010, begins with The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale presenting its graduating students’ Portfolio Review, 9am-12pm, followed by the graduation ceremony, 5pm, at the Broward County Convention Center, featuring alumna and Hell’s Kitchen and 3030 restaurant chef Paula DaSilva as the commencement speaker.

"The Portfolio Review is an important and exciting process for our graduates to showcase their best work to potential employers in the design, fashion and media arts industries," says Director of Career Services Wendy Wagner. "They also get to share their accomplishments with family and friends." The Portfolio Review is open to the public at no charge and features the colors, designs, sights and sounds of Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Media Arts & Animation, Visual Effects & Motion Graphics, Broadcasting, Video Production, Digital Filmmaking & Video Production, Wed Design, Graphic Design, Advertising, Photography, Industrial Design, and Interior Design.

At 5pm, the Spring 2010 graduation ceremony begins with Chef DaSilva delivering the commencement speech. The ceremony will be streamed live on www.artinstitute.edu/graduation.
