IT Project Blog Posts Videos, Tips and Tools for Project Managers

NuWave's IT Project Blog has gained popularity since its launch less than two months ago, but faces the challenge of an increasing demand for content. With only one part-time author and a new webinar series approaching, NuWave is considering taking on more authors so that it can post to the blog more frequently.

Nashua, NH, June 08, 2010 --(PR.com)-- NuWave Technologies' IT Project Blog (http://www.nuwave-tech.com/it-project-blog) went public not even two months ago, on April 22nd, and has already posted two tools, several videos and a variety of articles for project managers. With quality content going up at least once a week, the IT Project Blog is beginning to develop a dedicated following. In fact, interest in the blog is growing so much that NuWave is considering taking on more authors to fulfill the demand for more frequent posts.

Kathlika Thomas, the author of the blog, is only a part-time NuWave employee, which limits the amount of content that she can produce for the blog. This is especially true now that she is preparing a series of webinars to be held under the IT Project Blog umbrella. Writing scripts, creating powerpoints, and rehearsing for each webinar takes a great deal of her 20 hours a week. The first webinar, “Improve Your Projects: Learning From Past Mistakes”, was held in June and is now available on the blog's website.

By taking advantage of the resources on the IT Project Blog, project managers can hopefully improve the outcomes of their projects and minimize the risks. The goal of the site is to assist PMs in the most difficult aspects of their jobs, such as managing the influence of stakeholders, maintaining morale during projects, and defining requirements. So far, the most popular post is a project management how-to video titled "5 Habits of a Successful PM," which has been viewed several hundred times.

Despite the challenges that the IT Project Blog faces, NuWave hopes to continue to improve the blog over time. Goals for the blog include increased readership, more frequent posts, and the addition of more authors, tools and videos.
