New York, NY, December 02, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Astrid Brucker will be presenting holiday gifts from her Winter '06 accessories collection, astridland, to the New York Women In Film and Television Muse Awardees at the Gala Holiday Luncheon at the New York Hilton on Thursday, December 14th, 2006.
This year's Muse Award Honorees are Betty Cohen, President and CEO, Lifetime Television Networks, Katie Couric, Anchor, CBS Evening News, Mable Haddock, Founding President, National Black Programming Consortium, and Ellen Lewis, Casting Director (The Departed, The Devil Wears Prada). In addition, John Wells, Producer (The West Wing) will be receiving the First Annual Loreen Arbus Award. The event is a tribute to the contributions of these individuals in the entertainment industry and is a celebration of their achievements.
New York Women In Film is a non-profit organization that fosters the role of women in the entertainment industry. Programs consist of seminars and workshops focusing on skills such as writing, producing, and directing films, and creating opportunities for networking at screenings and meetings.
