Cary, NC, June 09, 2010 --(PR.com)-- When the enchanting water lilies at Duke Gardens first “caught her eye” more than four years ago, Raleigh photographer Jennifer Weinberg knew they would be a prominent subject in her local sessions for a long time to come. What she didn’t expect was that her water lily collection would one day be transformed into a calendar that would receive one of the most prestigious graphic printing prizes in the Carolinas.
Each year, the Printing Industry of the Carolinas, Inc. (PICA), a highly regarded graphic arts trade association representing more than 400 graphic arts members in the Carolinas, awards prizes for graphic printing projects that exhibit high standards of quality and innovation. “The PICA Awards have been the premier symbol of excellence for the graphics industry in the Carolinas since 1966.”
Holy Cow Branding teamed up with Laser Image Corporate Printing to produce a full-color, full-bleed calendar featuring Weinberg’s exquisite collection. “This calendar is certainly deserving of the Digital Media award,” says Laser Image sales representative Mike Mitchell. “That we could showcase such a beautiful set of prints in a calendar framework that actually enhances their viewing quality speaks volumes about the personal attention and versatility we offer our clients at Laser Image.”
